Every church is different, so no process ever looks quite the same. Through intentionally learning the environment, seeking leaders, and training them to make the maximum impact, my goal is to launch a team and leave the door open for continual growth after I am gone.

At Relevant Community Church I spent two years collaborating with Olivia Goodman, one other highschool co-leader, to run and expand the thriving kids worship team. Through my time at Relevant I truly learned what a successful group looks like and I developed the skills that it takes to lead a efficient team of volunteers.

Each Sunday morning I would help to lead worship on stage and throughout the week I would spend my time coordinating volunteers, training new members, and choreographing new dances.

My time at Relevant allowed me to gain experience in running and improving a highly-functioning team and helped me develop the foundation in leadership needed to help other churches build their own teams.

Four Week Launch

Christ Community Church Kids Worship

After helping out at CCC's vacation bible school I saw a need for the kids ministry to develop a live kids worship team. Kids had been watching worship videos every week, and I knew that I could help to provide a more enriching environment for the kids.

Through reaching out to the Kids Ministry leader, Bryant Belknap, we developed a four week plan to develop a thriving worship team from scratch. It involved learning the situation, leading worship, recruiting volunteers, equipping leaders, and supporting the future. This process was extremely successful and is how I plan to help other churches.

I volunteered over 40 hours to be there every Sunday and come in outside of church hours in order to film worship videos for reference over years to come and to equip the two new team leads, Anabelle Bradley and Camry Coler. I was able to create a system that has grown exponentially since then and is still thriving.

Working with Gage has been a huge blessing for our kids ministry. After leading worship at our large Summer U event, he reached out because he had a vision for helping us build a healthy worship culture and create a clear pathway for real leaders to lead worship in our classrooms each weekend. He took what was basically a messy hard drive full of worship songs, lyric videos, and dance videos and turned it into an organized, easy-to-use system, even renaming files so everything could be found quickly. He also recruited a couple of dancers and, over the course of just three days, filmed 20 dance videos that we can now send to volunteers ahead of time so they can come prepared to lead with confidence. Gage has a unique ability to create systems that are practical, sustainable, and easy for churches to implement. What I appreciate most, though, is that his drive for excellence never overshadows his heart for worship and his passion to see the next generation know and glorify God. Meet Gage

Hello! I'm Gage Petrick. I spent the first 18 years of my life living in Elkhorn, Nebraska as a part of an active Christian family. I have always had a passion for Jesus, especially in worshiping through sing and dance. In my time in Nebraska I was blessed to be a part of Relevant Community Church, where I ran the worship team for two years and grew my heart for helping kids find Jesus. Now I am a Freshman at the University of Alabama, and I can't wait to make a difference in my new community.

Through serving at both Relevant and Christ Community, I was really able to see that so many churches strive to have the best worship for their kids, but don't know where to start. That's why I created Kids Worship Launch—to work alongside churches and help build worship ministries that last long after I am gone.

Pricing starts at $600 paid upon satisfaction of the finished product. This $600 is the cost of having a fully-functioning, long-lasting, volunteer-led worship team. If for any reason you are unsatisfied, I would love to keep working with you on any issues, even if it extends my four week plan!
